Sourcing, factory visits, logistics

Land in China. Leave with a supplier you trust.

We plan the trip, walk the factory floor with you, translate the negotiation, then follow the order until the container clears customs. One local partner for the whole journey, not four.

What we do

Five jobs between the idea and the container.

Take one, take all five. Most clients start with a factory visit and hand us the order follow-up before they fly home.

Why a local partner

Five days in China can return nothing.

We have watched the same four failures for eight years. None of them is about price. All of them are about time.

  • You visit three factories in five days and pick the one with the best showroom.
  • The sample is right. The production run is not, and nobody is standing in the factory to see it.
  • The price you negotiated was quoted for 1,000 units, not the 10,000 you actually need.
  • The forwarder quote did not include the port fee, the inspection or the last-mile lift.

Our job is to remove those four. Shortlist before you fly, visits that respect the clock, notes and prices written down on the day, and someone in the factory after you land home.

How it runs

Three phases, one person answering your messages.

01

Before you fly

Two weeks out: we shortlist factories, build the day-by-day route and send the invitation letter for your visa. You approve before anything is booked.

02

On the ground

Two to four visits a day, a driver who knows the industrial parks, and an interpreter who can argue about a unit price without losing the room.

03

After you land home

Production schedule checked weekly, inspection booked before loading, documents prepared and the shipment tracked to your door.

Sample trip

Seven days in Guangzhou that end with three quotes.

Two fair days, two factory days in Foshan, one negotiation day. Built for a first-time buyer who has a product list and one week.

Day 1

Land, settle, brief

Airport pickup, hotel near the fair complex, and a two-hour session to fix the target price and the shortlist.

Day 2 to 3

Canton Fair, booth by booth

We work your list, collect cards and samples, and cut it down to the five suppliers worth a factory visit.

Day 4 to 5

Foshan factory days

Four factories across two days, with the line, the QC station and the warehouse walked in that order, every time.

Day 6 to 7

Negotiate, sample, sign

Price and payment terms settled with the two finalists, samples ordered, and your PO drafted before your flight.

What clients say

Three sentences we did not write.

We had four days. They put us in front of six factories, and one of them is now 60 percent of our range.

Daniel K., homeware wholesaler, Netherlands

The interpreter knew the industry. That changed the negotiation completely, and we stopped guessing what the price included.

Olga M., packaging importer, Kazakhstan

I flew home before the inspection. The report came with photos of every carton being sealed, and I forwarded it to my client the same day.

Ahmed S., hardware distributor, United Arab Emirates

How we are paid

You pay us. The factory does not.

A day rate, a project fee or a share of the order value, agreed in writing before we start. No commission from the supplier, no markup on freight, no product sold on the side.

  • Written quote before the first factory call
  • Invoices in USD or RMB, wired or paid in Guangzhou
  • Same person from scoping call to bill of lading

Before you ask

Four questions we answer every week.

The rest are on the FAQ page, including the awkward ones about deposits, quality claims and customs.

Read all the answers

How much does a one-week trip cost?
A guided week starts at US$1,960 per person for the service, flights and hotels excluded. Day rate is US$280 with a five-day minimum. Full figure depends on cities, hours and whether you add inspection.
Do I need to speak Chinese?
No. Every visit comes with interpretation, and the written notes reach you in English the same evening. Arabic and Russian interpretation can be arranged with two weeks notice.
Can you just inspect an order without me flying out?
Yes. Most inspection-only work is booked two to three weeks ahead and follows AQL 2.5. You get a photo report, a verdict and a short video of the cartons being sealed.
Who pays the factory deposit?
You do, directly to the factory, against a contract we have reviewed. We never take client money for goods in the first year of a relationship, and never without a signed payment instruction.

Tell us what you want to make.

Send the product, the target price and the month you can travel. We come back within one business day with a first outline and an honest answer on whether the trip is worth it.
