1. Who we are

China Source Concierge is a sourcing and business travel partner based in Guangzhou, China. For the personal data described here, we are the data controller. You can reach us at hello@guangdongsourcingtour.com.

2. What we collect

We collect what you type into our inquiry form: name, company, email, WhatsApp or WeChat number, country, product category, quantity or budget, travel window, group size and your message. Our server also records the IP address, the time and the browser of each submission, and keeps a private copy of the brief on the hosting account. If we work together, we add the documents the trip needs, such as passport details for a visa invitation, invoices and shipping records.

3. Why we use it

We use your data to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote and plan a trip. If you become a client, we use it to deliver the services, issue invoices and meet Chinese accounting rules. We do not sell data, and we do not add you to a newsletter without a separate opt-in. Our legal bases are your consent, the performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries.

4. How long we keep it

Inquiry data is kept for 24 months from the last contact, so a trip you postpone is not lost. Client records, invoices and shipping documents are kept for seven years as Chinese tax and contract law requires. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. After that period, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Who we share it with

We share data with the services that run this site: Hostinger for hosting and email, and a privacy-friendly analytics tool for aggregate page views. When we plan your trip we share only what is needed with hotels, drivers, factories, inspectors and freight forwarders. Each of them receives the minimum required, and none of them may use it for their own marketing.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising cookies. It stores your language choice in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us. If we use analytics, it is set to record aggregate page views without cross-site tracking. You can clear local storage in your browser settings at any time; the site will simply ask for a language again.

7. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority. We answer requests within 30 days.

8. Your rights under CCPA

California residents may ask what personal information we hold and may request a copy, a correction or deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Security and international transfers

Data is stored on servers run by our hosting provider, which may be outside your country. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses where the law requires them. Access to the leads file is limited to the people who answer inquiries, and the file is blocked from public web access.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us a brief, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.

12. Contact and data deletion

Email hello@guangdongsourcingtour.com with the subject line Data request. Tell us what you want: a copy, a correction or deletion. We confirm receipt within two business days and complete the request within 30 days, unless a legal record-keeping duty prevents it.
